I would like to see the idea of animating to the beat revisited in future collabs, this was enjoyable to watch.

It was a really cool idea
I really like the little detail where the characters are singing slightly out of sync for the first few seconds.
I think you got the old anime vibe down pat. The walking animations look a little weird though; it feels like they're on a different frame rate than the rest of the animation.
This is a nice short! I really like the overall color direction when the character has to travel through the spaceship to get to the control room. I think the text on the computer screen around 1:40 was a little too small for me to read though, especially since I'm seeing it through the character's shaky point of view.
I really like how the animation seamlessly loops itself. I think my only complaint is that the anti-aliasing on some of the characters looks a little weird.
Hey, I really like the colors here. However, I want to back up what other people have said and say that this is probably better suited for the art portal as a .webp file.
glad to have participated in this collab, it was fun animating something different
glad to participate in this collab
Well congratulations :)
me too
no way! youre a blue banana
The artstyle is pretty neat! I really like the color choices here: the warm hues reflect the sundown/autumn setting while the moderate-to-high saturation and value of some colors still make it Halloween-themed, on top of the shapes used for the background and the house guy.
I think the audio mixing needs some work though; the house man's voice feels a bit overshadowed by the background music and the sound effects. It feels very noticeable around the 00:45 mark--I couldn't understand a couple words he said at the end of his sentence.
This was a very enjoyable event to animate for, and this MV was a nice, comforting way to top it off! The couple entries I did for this jam helped me analyze where I can improve on in animating as well as making myself more confident in animating longer projects.
It's also a nice coincidence that this was posted on my birthday.
